ABSTRACT
Introduction The purpose of this chapter is to examine alternate feedstocks and technologies for the production of biodiesel. To undertake such an analysis, we begin with a consideration of the status quo of biodiesel production. This will facilitate subsequent examination of the forces that drive the choice of alternate feedstocks and conversion technologies.
