ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: This paper presents the main findings of the ManVis project (Manufacturing Visions – Integrating Diverse Perspectives into Pan-European Foresight) in a very condensed way in the form of hypotheses (a detailed overview on reports and results can be found on www.manufacturing-visions.org). The paper investigates which technologies will be relevant for the future of manufacturing and which role, visions, challenges, and needed actions, will emerge for European manufacturing.
