ABSTRACT
The results of tests show that brittle failure occurred in regular concrete (without steel fibers), after the appearance of the first crack, so there is no postcracking load bearing capacity. On the other hand, steel fiber reinforced sprayed concrete possesses a significant post-cracking load bearing capacity (toughness).
