ABSTRACT
Methods of control based on laboratory testing of samples as well as their results have but very little in common with the actual state of structures.
Subject to the influence of various factors both during construction and subsequent operation, structural state deteriorates and meets design requirements no longer. It brings us to the conclusion that periodic watertightness control of underground reinforced concrete structures is a must during the whole period of operation.
