ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: This paper addresses the integral approach in the development of infrastructural schemes, with a strong focus on the interaction between design and construction aspects. Key aspects addressed are Constructability, Reliability and Economy. An interaction scheme, to develop alternative concepts, is presented as well as a selection tool to make choices between alternatives developed. Examples are presented to support the interactions presented.
