The merits of concrete structures for oil and gas fields in hostile marine environments

ABSTRACT: Work is nearing completion in fib to produce a “State of the art” report on the performance of concrete offshore structures in hostile marine environments. The object of the report is to make available the experience gained over the past decades in the design and construction of such structures and to demonstrate the performance that can be achieved when attention is paid to known standards of quality and workmanship.
