ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: New types of concrete („green“ concrete, high and ultra high strength concrete) has developed recently. In meantime awareness of the need for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the construction industry has resulted in increasingly environmentally friendly cement production. It is known if the clinker part in cement is substituted with mineral additives (slag from a blast furnace, fly ash), the CO2 emission is significantly reduced. The serviceability of a such cement type should be tested in local conditions with the aim of preserving effects of the environmentally friendly production.
