ABSTRACT

All include some movements of landing type attitude in daily life and general sports events. For example: Go downstairs, get off the bus, play basketball…all can be regarded as landing movements. When high increasing the bigger strength occurs, if the insufficient muscular strength or the tactics with landing of the low limbs were not used at that time, the regular meeting caused the muscle or the joint ligament injured. For these reasons, the landing movements had been studied in humans for a long time (Greenwood & Hopkins, 1976; McNitt-Gray, 1991; Bardy & Laurent, 1998; Santello et al., 2001; Liebermann & Goodman, 2006). Most interesting features of landing are the kinetic & kinematic variables

(Mc Nitt-Gray, 1991; Chang, et al., 1994; Bardy & Laurent, 1998). After feet contact ground, Electromyography (EMG) activity has also been investigated to assess the contribution of reflex mechanisms in the absorption of the impact (Duncan & McDonagh, 2000). In many research papers, athlete’s low limbs were injured in landing (Gerberich et al., 1987; Ferretti & Papandrea, 1992; Bressel & Cronin; 2005).
