ABSTRACT
The use of predictive models to aid product design and development of non-standard materials needs to become an integral part of product development. Historic methods of designbuild-test followed by redesign-build-test to create a product suitable for manufacture is now considered outdated. Innovative companies of today are only interested in the most direct and shortest time to market.
