ABSTRACT
Individuals sustaining traumatic brain injury (TBI) often sustain other injuries in tandem with injury to the brain. Injuries involving the face, neck, back, torso, and extremities are commonly associated with TBI. Frequently, these injuries are readily diagnosed and treated because they are easily evidenced when the person presents at the emergency room.
