ABSTRACT
The major objective of this chapter is to: (1) review the reproductive biology of lamnoid sharks; (2) review the functional significance of oophagy and embryophagy within the order; (3) review present reproductive patterns relative to species and familial phylogenetic relationships within lamniformes.
