ABSTRACT
Strip profile and flatness analysis involves the investigation of the effects of various parameters on strip profile. In performing this analysis, it is desirable to determine the effect of only one parameter at a time while maintaining the others constant. This requirement is impossible to achieve during actual rolling conditions, even in special laboratory mills, but can be readily met by mathematical analysis of the strip profile using computer modeling.
