ABSTRACT
Figure 22.12 gives a comparison of the strip crown control ranges on a single stand with a single-chock and double-chock roll bending system. When rolling a strip of mild steel with a thickness of 4.31 to 4.50 mm, the DC-WRB system is almost three times more effective than a single-chock roll bending system.
