ABSTRACT
Elastic sensors are most often used in the measurement of force, torque, and pressure. The transducers incorporate some mechanical elastic member or combination of members. The application of load to the member results in analogous deflection which is then observed either directly or by the use of a secondary sensor that can convert this deflection into an electrical signal.
