ABSTRACT
Anumberofmethodsforcompensatingtheeffectofrolleccentricityonthethicknessoftherolled producthavebeenproposed.Thesemethodscanbedividedintothefollowingthreemaintypes:
Passiverolleccentricitycontrolmethods-Thesemethodsarenotdesignedtocompensateforthe effectsofrolleccentricityonthethicknessoftherolledmaterial.Theprincipalpurposeofthesemethods istomaketherollgapcontrolsysteminsensitivetothedisturbancescausedbyrolleccentricity.This methoddoesnotrequirerollgapcorrectionsasafunctionofrolleccentricity,thusexcludingthepossibilityofaccentuatingthegaugevariations.
