ABSTRACT

Wading birds form an important component of the Everglades marsh ecosystem and are often used as indicators of the health of the system. Aerial survey data collected in the Systematic Reconnaissance Flight program were used to analyze patterns of foraging habitat use in the Everglades Water Conservation Areas. Habitat use was analyzed on two scales.
