ABSTRACT
Industrial maintenance assumed in the last twenty years a significant role in production systems due to the stressed competition among organizations. The fast technological development, the necessity of reducing machines down time and the implementation of advanced maintenance strategies caused an increase of plant productivity but, at the same time, needed to pay more attention on safety aspects.
