ABSTRACT
The planning, design, and operation of a power transmission system require comprehensive analyses to assess current system performance and to predict further evaluation. Various power system reliability assessment methods can be found in literature. But usually they do not address the impact of ageing equipment on system reliability. In most cases these methods are based on constant failure rate assumption.
