ABSTRACT

CONCLUSIONS Thc stability of the colour temperature and general CRI of a solid-state RAGB lamp with respect to the variations of powers of the primary LEDs, deviations of the peak wavelength. and junction temperature was examined. Our results show that quadrichromatic lamps are mort stablc compared to their trichromatic counterparts. The variation in the LED peak wavelength duc to technologleal deviations and inaccuracy in controliing the relative powers was shown to be a minor issue. However. the variation in the junction temperature may result in a considerable degradation of the RAGB lamp. Fortunately, the latter drawback can be easily mitigated by using photodetector-based feedback systems [2].
