ABSTRACT
A nutritionally balanced diet is important in obtaining highly productive domestic animals. Feed additives may be used to provide optimum amounts of mineral elements. Selenium (Se) is in the group of mineral elements of vital necessity, since it, together with vitamin E, is indispensable for preserving animals’ health and maximizing their productivity.
