ABSTRACT
A recent survey by Coveney and Jamil [2] of U.K. manufacturers of rubber engineering components has confirmed the popularity of the traditional test method and has revealed a continuing reluctance to adopt some of the standard methods introduced to aid the generation of design data; these include several of the tests available for dynamic testing.
