For an industrial sample having Mno of approximately' 2.105 g mol-I, this corresponds to n (min i) of about 5.10-7 mol g-l. Common analytical methods, such as IR spectrophotometry, are not so sensitive. It can be effectively observed that Mn begins to decrease during the induction period for oxygen absorption (62,63).
