ABSTRACT

The paper presents some data on the influence of steel properties on the pull-out resistance of deformed steel fibers bonded in a cementitious matrix. Seven types of steels including plain carbon steels, martensite, stainless steels and HSLA (High strength low alloy) were investigated. Strength and ductility of these seven steels, were investigated. Strength and ductility of these steels covered a wide range. A decisive influence of the steel properties on the pull-out resistance was demonstrated.
