ABSTRACT
The word ’partial’ has two meanings: not complete and not impartial. Both are intended here. This paper is a survey of some of the developments in local cohomology in the last decade in which we took some part. Other relatively recent expositions of some aspects of local cohomology are found in the book by Brodmann and Sharp [14] and the papers by Schenzel [84] and Huneke [46].
