ABSTRACT
Example 19.4 (Koern~r, 1999) Figure Ex. 19.4 shows a section of a retaining wall with geotextile reinforcement. The wall is backfilled with a granular soil having y= 18 kN/m3 and l/J = 34°.
A woven slit-film geotextile with warp (machine) direction ultimate wide-width strength of 50 kN/m and having 0= 24° (Table 19.3) is intended to be used in its construction.
