ABSTRACT
A 29-year-old single male was referred for complaints of coughing up small amounts of bright red blood every few days for the preceding several months. He reported similar episodes of recurrent hemoptysis over a 15-year interval. Radiographic evidence of bron chiectasis in his left upper lung and a bulla in his right lower lobe were present ever since an episode of pneumonia at age 14.
