ABSTRACT
Although many imaging techniques are available to the radiologist in the evaluation of thoracic disease, the chest film remains the mainstay. Conventional posteroanterior (PA) and lateral chest radiographs should be performed as the initial imaging study in all pa tients with suspected thoracic disease.
