ABSTRACT
The fundamentals of dealing with fastener selection cannot be complete without some observations on quality control procedures which, to no surprise, are a hot topic in the fastener world of today. There are many examples, even in modern industries, where as-received fasteners are not always what they are claimed to be. And it appears that the general situation is not likely to get very much better.
