ABSTRACT
An oil evaluation study has as its primary purpose the determination of the value of oil in place. Such evaluation includes estimates of reserves.
Methods most commonly used to estimate the reserve of recoverable hydrocarbons are presented first in this chapter. These include: volumetric, material balance and decline curve methods. Economic evaluation follows.
