ABSTRACT
Tetrahydropyrimidinones Tetrahydropyrimidinones (1 ,3-diaryl-2-pyrimidinones), also called cyclic ureas, is a new class of photobleaching herbicides. Herbicides of this family are yet to be commer cialized. Chemically, these herbicides combine several structural elements of wel l - known chlorotic herbicides including fluometuron, fluridone and norflurazon. Fluridone and fluometuron are parent structures for tetrahydropyrimidinones [9].
