ABSTRACT
Finally, development of the Internet provides an opportunity for increasing the constitu ency involved in data management, maintenance, and analysis related to a land use issue. Internet map server technology provides unprecedented access to geographic data and data manipulation from a browser. This access to information can encourage wide involve ment in decision-making and will require attention to novel mechanisms for electronic participation.
