ABSTRACT
The computer code TIGRE [1] is an expert system, specially designed to fill the needs of off-site Emergency Plans prepared under the requirements of the 82/501/CEE directive. It has been applied to the plans of the chemical complexes of the provinces of Tarragona and Huelva (Spain), known respectively as PEE/ PLASEQTA and PEQHU. These two provinces contain approximately 70% of the Spanish chemical industry.
