CHAPTER 51 INTRODUCED DATA CENTER RECOVERY PLANNING CONCEPTS. This chapter examines the first part of a seven-step process that data center managers can use to develop a recovery plan for their centers. This chapter discusses steps one through four:
1. Selecting a plan development committee. 2. Establishing the plan’s scope. 3. Establishing its objects. 4. Determining the premise of the plan (i.e., making assumptions about the readiness of
the plan and the types of disaster that may occur).
