ABSTRACT
Fracture mechanics gives us the possibility to analyse the interaction between an anchor bolt and the surrounding concrete in an accurate way. Contributions to this development have among others been given by Ottosen (1981), Elfgren et al. (1982), Peier (1983), de Borst (1986), Ballarini et al. (1986), Hellier et al. (1987), Rots (1988), Eligehausen and Sawade (1989).
