ABSTRACT
The device is very small but as i n the case o f fuses the high voltage
and current drivers are needed. Al so some extra steps i n the fabrica
t ion are required. This technology is used by A c t e l and QuickLogic
[68]. The advantage is that after programming, the device retains its
configurat ion even wi thou t supply voltage. The disadvantage is that
the anti-fuses as we l l as fuses are not reprogrammable and i n case o f
design mistake or modif icat ion the whole chip must be changed.
