ABSTRACT
Seth et al. [66] show that at low degrees of bonding compression strength depends strongly on bonding, but that as bonding is increased a limiting strength is reached. They conclude that the compression strength of paper becomes controlled by the fiber compression strength at higher degrees of bonding. This behavior is similar to that of tensile strength, according to a theory advanced by Page [54].
