ABSTRACT
Reclamation and use of semiarid lands and deserts can be significantly improved through a better understanding of the classifications of climate and use of weather predictive models. Models are useful in predicting future trends in climatic changes, the probable range in values of the various weather elements, relationships of one weather element to others, and the influence of weather and other environmental factors on crop yields, forage production, and the potential from agricultural technology transfer.
