ABSTRACT
Duringthistimeperiod,anothergroupofantibodieswithHTLAcharacteristicswasbeing investigated.ThefirstofthesetobenamedwastheKnops-Helgeson(Kna)antigen(97).The RBCsfromthedonorHelgesonwerefoundtobecompatibleandthoughttobenegativefor thehigh-incidenceantigenKna.In1980,anantibodytothecorrespondinglow-incidenceantigen wasfoundinaserum(Hall)andgiventhenameKnb(98).
