ABSTRACT
Impetigo is an infectious disease of the superficial layers of the skin. It is the most common pyodermitis in children. Although this disease occurs anywhere in the world, the poor hygienic conditions, poverty and overcrowding in tropical countries make impetigo more common in these regions.
