ABSTRACT

Erythema dyschromicum perstans, also known as Oswaldo Ramirez's disease or figurative chronic erythema with melanodermia, is a pigmented dermatosis of unknown etiology. It is characterized by asymptomatic, blue-gray spots with marginal erythema. It is chronic dermatosis for which there is no specific treatment. It is perhaps influenced by inflammatory, hormonal or environmental factors.
