ABSTRACT

If Uncle Zoltan hadn't plucked me up from the remotest locum on the planet and plunked me down in a medical conference in the Caribbean, I'd never have met Hubby Wayne. Who knows upon what shores the medical seas would have deposited me? Perhaps the land of research, tucked far away from other humans on a prison island or sleepy refugee lagoon. I may have tempted fate and opted for drug addicts, but I hope not: it was too raw and tempting until recently. Very recently. Desire occasionally spikes me, but I'm no longer willing to sacrifice the children. Or the husband. I don't delude myself. One minuscule lapse and all would be lost.
