ABSTRACT

To analyze the behavior of these different materials in the classical framework of Rowe’s dilatancy (Rowe 1962), a succession of seven loading-unloading cycles was also applied on the 3 samples of discs, isotropic polygons and most elongated polygons (with Ra = 3). The global behavior and the evolution of the induced anisotropy inside these various granular materials were previously studied in (Nouguier-Lehon et al. 2003).
