ABSTRACT
Shotcrete and rockbolts are used as a permanent lining in the single shell tunnel. The method has been widely used in several countries such as Norway, Sweden, and Finland. However, the method was not used in Korea even for very good rock mass conditions because the research for the single shell tunnel was not actively conducted in Korea.
