ABSTRACT
The natural dams were afraid to induce secondary disaster such as downstream and/or upstream floods induced by collapse of dams and rise of water level at the reservoir built temporary after the earthquake. Because strong inland earthquakes at mountainous area are afraid to be occur in the future in Japan, it is necessary and effective to know the fundamental conditions concerning to natural dams with use of few and valuable data got in the actual earthquakes.
