ABSTRACT

Today’s business climate is more competitive and volatile than ever before. Increased competition, evolving global markets, mergers, and acquisitions: these factors and many more have forced enterprises to unlock their collection of market data and use the information to make better decisions faster. Now more than ever, decision support systems, data marts, and data warehouses are not only a component of a competitive advantage, but they are a requirement. They must be easily implemented and able to adapt and scale as the business climate changes.
