ABSTRACT
Most massively parallel systems and many cluster systems based on interconnection technologies such as InfiniBand rely on custom protocol stacks to provide end-to-end transport services for their applications’ data movement needs. However, more and more we are experiencing the need for IP-based high performance communications services, “outside-of-the-box,” across distributed infrastructures and across the public Internet.
