ABSTRACT
The female reproductive organs of blennies (Blenniidae) represent a type which is common in many species of fishes. They consist of a paired ovary which, in most cases, undergoes a yearly reproductive cycle. However, the male reproductive organs differ from those of other groups of fish. The testis is in connection with different accessory organs such as testicular glands, seminal vesicles and blind pouches.
