If the seed conditioner “just starts working” without knowing exactly what needs to be done to a seed lot, much time-consuming trial and error will be required to get the proper settings.
A major responsibility of IQC is to pre-determine the conditioning required by each lot, to save time, cost and labor in conditioning.
