ABSTRACT
Arsenic (As) pollution in Bangladesh, India, China, Taiwan and other Asian countries is associated with serious health hazards including skin pigmentation, neuropathy, respiratory defects, and cancer development. On the other hand, arsenic trioxide (As2O3) is used as an effective agent in the treatment of acute promyelocytic leukemia.
