ABSTRACT
Natural stone production and consumption have been growing gradually in all over the world. Chain saw machine has an important position among the machines/methods which are used for production of stone blocks. Increasing environmental concerns increase the importance and applications of chain saw machines. However, there are still technological problems in mining of relatively higher strength and more abrasive natural stones. The problems encountered are low production rates, high cutting tool consumption rates, and thus, high production costs.
